On May 18th, les Soeurs de Saint-Joseph de Cluny Alumni Association (SSJCAA) committee had a productive and engaging day to foster partnerships and strengthen alumni connections.

The day began with a formal meeting between an SSJCAA committee member and the President of the Community Access Center. This initial discussion served as an introduction to the association and an opportunity to explore future collaborations.

During a cordial brunch, conversations covered a range of topics, including the Congregation of the Soeurs de Saint-Joseph de Cluny, the current situation of schools managed by the missionaries, the economic challenges faced by Haitian families in affording education, and SSJCAA's past, present, and future initiatives.

The meeting concluded with a sense of optimism and hope for the future from both parties, paving the way for potential impactful partnerships.

Later that day, the SSJCAA committee joined a lively alum picnic hosted by the College Notre Dame du Perpétuel Secours Alumni Association (CNDPSAA). The event allowed alums from various schools to join, engage in activities, and deepen connections.

SSJCAA committee members actively participated in the entertainment, strengthening their ties with fellow alums. They also formally introduced the association to attendees, receiving a heartwarming and enthusiastic welcome, making everyone feel part of a truly welcoming community.

SSJCAA presented its upcoming initiatives during the picnic, including plans for its first annual picnic and future projects. Other alum associations shared their activities and expressed enthusiasm for fostering stronger collaborations among alum groups from different institutions.

The day ended positively, with a renewed commitment to building meaningful partnerships that benefit educational institutions and the broader community. SSJCAA's participation in both events reaffirmed its dedication to supporting alum engagement and fostering initiatives that create lasting impact.
